Why should you join?

WRIR’s mission relies on creative, savvy volunteers to shape how the station connects with the community. Whether you’re a fan of WRIR’s social media or you see room for improvement in our website, we’d love to hear your ideas and help to turn them into action.

Skills we need: Graphic design, writing, video editing, branding strategy, media relations, web design, and creativity…but enthusiasm and passion to help your community are paramount!

How to Get Involved:

Step 1: Fill Out an Application
Tell us about your background, interests, and what you’d like to help with. 👉 Volunteer Application

Step 2: Join a Committee Meeting
Meet current volunteers and see how you can plug in. No need to RSVP—just show up!

🕒 When: 6:30–7:30 PM on the 3rd Wednesday of every month
📍 Where: At the WRIR studio and remotely. Feel free to email socialmedia@wrir.org for the link and/or to introduce yourself!
