About this show
Kaleidoscope Soul (hosted David Rogers)
The best of soul from the quiet storm to the modern day.
Interstellar Elevator (hosted by Tristan Weinland)
Interstellar Elevator is a groovy mix of R&B, Funk, Jazz, Soul, Experimental, and Electronic. It’s all in the name: music you might hear in an elevator, with ethereal and ambient undertones. It’s a show built for the nighttime listener, with a wide variety of spacey tunes.
The majority of songs played will be from Richmond artists, and the show will focus on new releases from this decade (with the occasional mid-century exception). Consider it the perfect soundtrack for going through the stages of sleep, or late-night accompaniment as the lines between days blur.
Starship Orchestra, New York, New York…what a pull. I had never heard of that.
Would be great to see playlists for *every* show.
