Bonjour à tous ! Aujourd’hui c’est la Fête des Mères…mais pour les Américains seulement.
Hi, y’all! Today is Mother’s Day…but just for Americans. I still want to celebrate with songs written for and by mothers. In many francophone countries, mothers will be celebrated in a couple of weeks (May 26 in France).
Apparently, this is a holiday adopted first in the U.S., and then during World War I, American soldiers spread the concept in Europe.
