Alternative Milestones Episode 124 – First Day of…
Bit of a life-change yesterday. I’ll tell ya about it.
As for this episode of the program – Gonna spend some quality time in the early-80’s with The Go-Go’s, Culture Club, Duran Duran, The Smiths and Yaz(oo).
Not quite as many birthdays as the last few shows, but they do include Rancid, Sixpence None the Richer, Bif Naked, Snow Patrol, Alien Ant Farm and Aurora
And I had a moment of discovery that embodies what Alternative Milestones is all about – a song I was completely unaware of until I started researching this show. It’s brand new to me yet completely nostalgic at the same time.
And at a time that Rush has gone back on tour after 11 years away, I get to play some.
Let’s have some fun!
