Happy PRIDE month, Summer Solstice, and a belated Father’s Day to my Vati. Today’s episode is dedicated to him! He’s most likely the reason I can still speak German fluently (a nod to my mother as well), because he raised me between two cultures on two continents. This episode is dedicated to him. Because he missed out on what was going on musically in Germany during the 80s, mid-to-late 90s, and early 2000s, I thought I’d put together a selection of German New Wave, Punk, Industrial, and other genres to get you thinking more deeply about what German music is.
