Alternative Milestones Episode 98 – Imagine
This week marked the 45th anniversary of the murder of John Lennon. Imagine what he would have done with more time…
We’ll honor John Lennon during today’s show, and also Germs vocalist Darby Crash who died by intentional overdose just the day before Lennon’s murder.
On a happier note, I’ve got so many birthday milestones! Goo Goo Dolls, Haircut 100, The Jam, Beachy Head, The Fall, Catherine Wheel, EMF, Buzzcocks, Dinosaur Jr and The All-American Rejects all had member milestone birthdays this week.
As usual this time of year, lots of compilations and live albums celebrated milestone release anniversaries and we’ll celebrate those with tracks from from Bob Marley & The Wailers, Ramones, Alice in Chains and Devo
And holiday spirit will be spread too.
