Single Use featuring BEEFCAKE
This week on Single Use we’ve got Beefcake with us! The Beefcakes include Andrew Watson, Pete Finfrock, Rey Murati and Nick Howe who blend sharp lyricism, catchy melodies, and a laid-back charm that’s become a signature part of their sound. The take their namesake from a beloved alley cat that roamed Oregon Hill neighborhood who is considered a neighborhood icon that reflects the band’s playful yet thoughtful spirit. Their debut EP, …Is the Cat’s Name, introduced listeners to their blend of acoustic warmth, tongue-in-cheek storytelling, and indie-pop hooks. Their latest release, Something in Between, builds on that foundation with a fuller, more dynamic sound while balancing emotional depth with clever songwriting and a warm sense of melody.
