A Musical Tribute to T-Mo … with a NOLA Lagniappe!
On March 5, the day after Mardi Gras, one of WRIR’s most knowledgeable and committed DJs, Talia Moser, embarked on a new trip after her courageous and inspiring journey through cancer. We miss Talia’s presence, but her spirit lives on in family, friends, and all those who were fortunate enough to cross paths with this brave soul. Talia contributed greatly to this radio station, the Richmond Folk Festival, and to the many Cajun and Zydeco artists she promoted and booked for shows in local venues. T-Mo, we all miss you.
This show is dedicated to the music Talia loved, and we close it out with a brief overview of a few bands I heard while in NOLA earlier this month. That’s the “lagniappe” part of this show — a little something extra — and it’s just the way Talia would have liked it!
