Breakfast Blend w/ Galaxy Girl & Friends
Galaxy Girl – 20210603 – Fenced
Hi Everybody! I really wanted to put together a silly and fun show for this week, but my mind was stuck on the past.
Last year about this time, people in Richmond (and all over the US) were marching against systemic racism and police violence. And during this time, the police frequently responded with…well…violence. So I guess this week’s show is a little bit about remembering the past while pushing into the future.
This week I’ve got music by Boogie Down Productions, PJ Sykes, Inter Arma, Nina Simone, Fugazi, Gene Autry, and much more! Thanks for listening!
