French Kiss Radio Vol. 42
French Kiss vol. 42 on WRIR 97.3FM tonight, 5-7pm ET! Richmonders’ ears are still buzzing after The Strokes tore up Tredegar last night, and I still have a mountain of Strokes-adjacent lore that’s ripe for prime time radio. Today’s show will cover The Strokes’ ties to France, from Julian’s work with Daft Punk to a Nick and Fab French-language side project to French indie stars covering Room on Fire. Also included: a proliferation of French connections among The Strokes 00s rock contemporaries like The Killers, Arcade Fire, Franz Ferdinand, and more.
