POP Goes The World! / What the Fontaine?!
Wish You Were Here (PGTW’s Best of 2025)

For my final live show here at 1621 W.Broad St, I’ll blow out my favorite tracks of 2025.
It was a very fertile year for pop music (by POP Goes The World’s standards, at the very least) as I recognized a new genre emerging which I started calling “Post Pop” as I started recognizing new songs expanding on all the elements of pop, power pop, punk, post punk, grunge, indie pop, and art pop dragging pop music, kicking and screaming, into the second half of the third decade of the new millennium.
Happy holidays and happy new year, and we’ll see you in 2026 at 1806 E Main St.!
