Commonwealth of Notions / Deutscher Jam
12.19.25 – one more for 2025 and one more for 1621
tonight is the last episode of the Commonwealth of Notions to be recorded live from WRIR’s longstanding home on West Broad Street.
as we venture into 2026, so does WRIR as we relocate to our new space down in Shockoe Bottom.
it’s bittersweet yet exciting to imagine what the future can hold for this community radio station.
don’t fret. Commonwealth of Notions isn’t going anywhere. it’ll just get some new digs.
tonight is about reflecting on doing the show for sixteen years and sharing a few fond memories.
look below for the playlist.
as always, thanks for tuning in, happy holidays, and see ya in 2026.
