Alternative Milestones Episode 87 – Live Forever

Thu, Sep 25, 2025

This week we mark the final live performance of Bob Marley & The Wailers which had its 45th anniversary on Tuesday 9/23. Fortunately a useable recording was found and the world can appreciate this last performance.

Otherwise on the program this week we’ll be celebrating birthdays with Tegan and Sara, Ani DiFranco, Siouxsie & The Banshees, Ween and The Housemartins.

And today is apparently a big day in the history of Alternative Music – I’ve got no less than 12 tracks from albums celebrating a milestone anniversary today – 3 from 1990, 6 from 2015 and 3 from 2020.
