#142: (F)ugitive Practice (with See the Lieutenant., NYC)

Sat, Jun 28, 2025

Tonight is a mind-bender: welcome NYC-based polymath/MC See the Lieutenant.

Panoramic this episode is a collective offering, an Operation if you will.

Operation (L) is the Research-Based Antidisciplinary Studio Practice of Lindsee “The Lieutenant,” a self-identified polymath. Operation (L) works in and around music & sonic practice to create multimodal cultural productions that are counterindustrial and pedagogical in nature.

(F)ugitive Practice is an output of The Lieutenant’s Thesis work, an exploration of Rap’s fundamental elements and Black music as philosophy. The name is a reference, but more importantly both a rejection of perfectionism and an embrace of the improvisational & the subsequent process of post-rationalization.

We start (F)ugitive Practice off here on Panoramic #141, with underground Rap and slightly genre-bending tracks and remixes, and a freestyle set from See The Lieutenant in the spirit of tradition.
