Alternative Milestones Episode 66 – 2 Losses This Week
The world of Alternative Music lost 2 powerful vocalists in the past week – Dave Thomas of Pere Ubu and Mike Peters of The Alarm. I’ll pay tribute to both to start off this week’s show.
Other than that – we’re still in fundraiser mode! It closes tomorrow and you’ve gotten us very close to our $45,000 goal but there’s still work to be done. So I give sincere thanks to all who have been able to donate up to now, and I ask those considering a donation to hit that donate button and get us to that finish line. Every donation, no matter the size, is important and appreciated! It’d make me so happy to see that needle move during my show from 1-3 PM!
Besides that, I’ve got the usual diverse list of alternative tracks to celebrate the milestone anniversaries that happened this past week. Many birthdays to tell you about, and lots of releases to tell you about too.
Let’s do this!
