Alternative Milestones

Alternative Milestones Episode 40 – Alternative Headstones

Thu, Oct 31, 2024

With this week’s show coming ON HALLOWEEN and during the WRIR 2024 Fall Fundraiser, it’s gonna be a special show in many ways:
1) Since it’s Halloween, I’m putting the Milestones on hold for a week. This week, it’s Alternative Headstones – all Halloween-themed alternative music this week. (My wife thought this meant only music from people who are no longer alive, but that’s not it).
2) Since it’s the Fall Fundraiser, here’s my treat for donors. Anyone who makes a donation at https://www.wrir.org/donate/ during my show not only gets whatever premium they’ve signed up for, but they’ve also earned a song request. So donate, then call the studio at 804.649.9737 and request a song. Any song. It can be Halloween-themed but doesn’t have to be. If I can find it and it’s suitable for playing, I’ll play it for you ASAP.
3) I’m proud to have WRIR Station President Melissa Vaughn aka One Hit Wanda joining me for the show to talk about WRIR, independent radio, community, music and Halloween
All this and more coming up Thursday October 31 from 1-3 PM on WRIR 97.3FM Richmond Community Radio, stream online at https://www.wrir.org/listen , or wherever you get your radio content these days. I hope to see you all then!
