#124: asthmatic blade (with @LARGE, Reno/NYC)

Sat, Jul 13, 2024

hello and greetings to all you transmitters.

tonight’s guest is @LARGE, a sound collage sonic weaponizer who came onto my radar late last year through Bandcamp recommendations, and AS IT TURNS OUT, my show was reposted by another homie and here we are.

their mix in their words goes:

“here’s a little loose description of the mix that you’re welcome to use, though also happy to hear your take on it: A long-form fragment of an ongoing serial poem (a cross-cultural mess), the mix poses voice as weapon, asthmatic blade, action that begins with a breath; pacing becomes suffocadence, a corrupted trumpeter caught jaywalking through the language and into a life.”

bonkers, healing energy.
