A JAM-PACKED SOURCE! On Friday’s ear-pleasing, Dina-riffic edition of Open Source RVA, heard at noon on WRIR 97.3 FM, Dina Weinstein talks with Kate Ayers, Executive Director of ReEstablish Richmond, who tells us about her organization’s efforts in helping to resettle refugees in the Richmond area. Conflux is a contemporary dance troupe based on inclusivity and diversity, and the company has a performance on Saturday night at The Grace Street Theater. THEN we present a rebroadcast of Dina’s October conversation with singer Ms. Jaylin Brown, a VCU trained opera singer slated to perform her distinctive brand of soulful blues at Gallery5 on Dec. 27.
