LJ hosts End of the Century!
He has now reached to ππ΅π΅π΄ in his slower than pitch tar creep of a survey of the years covered by this show.
What was going on in ’98?
β’ Brandy and Monica duel it out on their hit single “The Boy is Mine.”
β’ Will Smith gets “Jiggy wit it.” Because in 1998 he was still a music artist, not an actor. He also seemed a bit, perhaps, happier then.
β’ Dave Navarro’s brief stint with The Red Hot Chili Peppers comes to an end.
β’ Cher believes in life after love… and autotune.
β’ George Michael engages in a “subconsciously deliberate act” in a Beverly Hills public restroom.
None of this will be played on this afternoon’s show! (LJ has to clear room for one of the best albums ever made…)
