Hey Listeners,

I'll kick off the show with a live track from Red Baraat (pictured above).  They will be playing thier unique punjabi funk at the NOLA Jazz and Heritage Festival this coming weekend.  In fact I may very well close down the weekend at their show that evening.  Tune in tonight from 11 to 1 for a preview of some great acts I hope to catch while I'm down there.  There is so much to see and so little time.  The good news as the festival has signed bigger and bigger acts to headline the event, it's easy t oavoid the crowds and see more intimate performancs with some more interesting acts.  Those are the ones I'll be playing tonight – so check it out.
